If you manage social media for clients, run community pages, or maintain separate personal/professional/creative identities, you need multiple accounts on the same platforms. Doing this without triggering ban-waves takes discipline. This guide is the playbook.

The three signals platforms use

  1. Phone number: one number per account, no exceptions.
  2. IP fingerprint: same IP + multiple accounts = linked graph.
  3. Browser fingerprint: canvas, fonts, timezone, screen resolution — if identical, accounts are linked.

Phone: one virtual number per account

Rent a fresh number per account on SMSVerifyo. For platforms that re-verify (Instagram, TikTok, X), use long-term rentals in the same country as the account's target audience.

IP: residential proxies or ISP-quality

Do not use datacenter proxies for social accounts — flagged instantly. Use residential or mobile proxies (Bright Data, Oxylabs, Smartproxy). One dedicated proxy per account, kept sticky.

Fingerprint: separate browser profiles

Use a fingerprint browser (Multilogin, GoLogin, Kameleo) that generates a unique fingerprint per profile. Chrome profiles alone are not enough — canvas hash bleeds through.

Behavior: humanize

  • Warm every account 48 hours before first post.
  • Do not post identical content to multiple accounts within an hour.
  • Randomize posting times.
  • Log in from the assigned proxy every time, never mix.

Platform-specific notes

  • Instagram: most aggressive. Warm 72h. Enable authenticator 2FA per account.
  • TikTok: region-locked; match phone country to target audience.
  • X: less aggressive but bans re-emerging bot networks in waves.
  • LinkedIn: hardest — professional identity is graph-checked; one identity per person is the norm.

Frequently asked questions

Is this against ToS?

Depends on platform. Legitimate agency work (managing client accounts) is fine and platforms have official tools (Meta Business Suite, TikTok Business Center). Buying/selling accounts is against ToS everywhere.

Can I automate posting?

Yes with official APIs (Meta Graph, TikTok API). Third-party bots that scrape/click UI are ToS violations.

Cost per account?

Roughly $2-$8/month per account: virtual number ($0.20 initial + long-term rental) + residential proxy ($3-$5) + share of fingerprint browser subscription.
